Devon - Through Time, a Series - Polymer photogravure print - Edition 2021Time plays a simple role in photography, shutter speeds, film development times, and more. A photograph records a moment in time, often a fraction of a second in time, or in some cases long exposures record a blurry bit of life. In my work, I strive to make pictures that challenge time, wanting to trigger our imaginations. Using props, wardrobe, and process I want my pictures to transport the viewer to a past that lives only in their imaginations.
