Along the Columbia River #1 - photogravure print - The Weekly EditionI had a conversation recently with a good friend and photographer about working in the landscape. She talked about the vastness of the outdoors and our relationship and relative size. These ideas resonated with me and helped me identify a feeling I have had but never articulated. The pictures in this series are my expression of the way we spoke that day. This hand pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel Bistre, Noir 55981, and Sanguine inks

and an edition of 10 numbered prints and 3 A/P prints

This collection will be a mix of these photographs

Build in the 13th Century The Hofburg Palace was for the Habsburg dynasty in Austria

At the time I made a platinum print of this negative that was later collected by The Portland Art Museum as part of the permeant collection

In this past year I have embraced letterpress printing & book arts and I've incorporated these skills with my photogravure work

It was the combination of the quiet expression

I printed an edition of 10 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints

7"x 7" inches on an 11 x 14" sheet
