1970's Tomson Splendor Series Mustang (Blue)These were mail order guitars from Japan in the 1970's that were made by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company. Modelled after the Fender Mustang, this is an oddball build that feels closer to a Teisco Guyatone than a Fender. Solid body with an almost square profile maple neck and a striped rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3. 5kg's. 628mm scale length with a 44mm nut width, it's loaded with a pair of single coil passive pickups controlled by individual on off

Great condition as pictured with light signs of wear and tear

they have life left and play smoothly with some light playwear

It's a very cool vintage option that won't break the bank

the Level knob increases the output volume of the pedal and the Overdrive knob controls the intensity of the drive

Made in small batches within the ESP Tokyo workshop

820mm scale length on a set maple neck with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard

Factory loaded with a Shadow Piezo pickup and a Fishman preamp system

the Marine Rider was a Mosrite style travel guitar with a built in speaker (both clean and distorted channels)

Loaded with the original PJ passive pickup configuration controlled by a pickup blend knob and master volume/tone controls

These were only made for a year or so before being discontinued so are exceptionally rare
